The Tbilisi School for Social Research Stichting supports democratic governance, EU integration, and sustainable development in Georgia and beyond through research, education, and cultural exchange. It fosters peacebuilding in post-conflict societies, strengthens civic dialogue, and builds international partnerships — including a research and library hub in The Hague focused on Georgia’s intellectual and cultural contributions. The foundation also works to deepen Dutch-Georgian friendship through sustained academic and civil society cooperation.
We are an independent, non-profit think tank with three main divisions: the Library about Georgia, the TSSR Research Centre, and the technology and design workshop known as the Creative Laboratory. We are based in both Tbilisi and The Hague.
